Kevin O'Donnell co-founded Next Move to solve a problem seen throughout healthcare: great organizations struggling to find the right people while talented professionals settle for the wrong opportunities.

As a chiropractic student with a background in biology and business, Kevin understands both sides of the hiring process.

Next Move goes beyond résumés and job postings by helping practices connect with professionals who fit their culture, share their vision, and want to grow with them.

James was a marketing and journalism student who learned that the chiropractic profession needed a bigger megaphone and more consistent messaging. He discovered that a non-chiropractor raising that megaphone could help validate the voice of all things chiropractic.

James Chester has dedicated his life to sharing the truth about the chiropractic profession. Over the years, he has become a master marketer for offices across the nation.

James lives in Grand Junction, Colorado. He grew up in Davenport, Iowa, the birthplace of chiropractic, and has been an advocate for the profession for more than 15 years. As he entered the chiropractic scene, he saw that the profession was lacking clarity in its messaging to the public.

We learn what you’re looking for in a candidate — including experience, location, practice style, philosophy, compensation structure, and long-term goals — and use that information to identify candidates who may be a strong fit.

How is Next Move different from a traditional job board?

Traditional job boards give you a place to post an opening and wait for applicants. Next Move is designed to be more proactive. Our goal is to help create meaningful connections between practices and candidates based on what both sides are actually looking for.

What types of positions can I hire for?

Next Move is initially focused on associate opportunities, with the ability to support a broader range of professional positions as our network grows.

Can I hire a new graduate through Next Move?

Yes. Connecting practices with students approaching graduation and recent graduates is a major part of the Next Move network.

Do you only work with chiropractic practices?

Chiropractic is where Next Move began and remains a core focus. However, our long-term vision is to expand the platform into additional healthcare and professional industries.

How much does it cost to use Next Move?

There is no cost to explore Next Move or speak with our team about your hiring needs. Any applicable recruiting or placement fees will be clearly explained before you commit to working with us.

What happens after I submit my information?

Our team reviews your practice, position, and ideal candidate profile. From there, we can begin identifying potential matches within our network and connecting you with candidates who align with what you’re looking for.

Can I use Next Move if I'm not ready to hire yet?

Absolutely. If you anticipate needing an associate in the future, joining the network early allows us to better understand your practice and keep your needs in mind as our candidate network grows.

Do you guarantee that a candidate will be a good fit?

No recruiting service can guarantee that two people will ultimately be the right fit. Our goal is to improve the process by understanding both sides before making an introduction and helping practices connect with candidates whose goals and preferences align.

How does the matching process work?

Will practices be able to see my information?

What if I don't know exactly what type of practice I want to work in?

That's normal, especially as a student or recent graduate. Part of the process is helping you think through what matters to you in your first position and what type of environment may align with your goals.

Does Next Move guarantee me a job?

No. We can't guarantee employment or that a particular opportunity will result in an offer. What we can do is help expand your access to opportunities and connect you with practices looking for candidates like you.
